What this course covers

8 lessons taking you from fundamentals through to working application — written for engineers and decision-makers, not students.

Why this course exists. Boiler phase-out is policy in UK (Future Homes Standard 2025), EU (REPowerEU 60M heat pumps by 2030), and increasingly UAE for new-build cooling. Heat pumps are now the default — but designing them properly is harder than swapping a boiler. This course is the design-engineer's working manual.

Who it's for. M&E engineers, MEP designers, MCS-registered installers, retrofit coordinators, and asset managers funding heat pump rollouts.

How it's written. Eight lessons covering ASHP, GSHP, WSHP, hybrid systems, and DHW integration. Anchored to MCS, BS EN 14511 / 14825, and to the UK BUS scheme + EU REPowerEU policy reality.
